Is there anything more epic than a horror film that brings together a series of genre legends?
That’s exactly what you’re going to get with Natty Knocks, the newest offering from Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers director Dwight H. Little.
Furthermore, Little has brought three members of horror royalty to the project and we’ve gotten our first official look at them in a brand new trailer.
The Halloween-set horror tale is described as:
“A small-town babysitter and the kids she is looking after struggle to survive a serial killer named Abner Honeywell.”
However, the trailer promises more than that, as we hear children chant an ominous nursey rhyme about Natty Knocks, said to haunt the town, as well as promising a plethora of hidden secrets to be unearthed.
Natty Knocks will act as a reunion between actor Robert Englund and Little, having previously collaborated on the 1989 adaption of Phantom of the Opera. Furthermore, another face form Little’s filmography is also present in the form of Scream Queen Danielle Harris. Harris took on the central role of Jamie Lloyd in the previously mention Halloween from sequel Little. Joining this iconic duo is horror legend Bill Moseley, who is always game for some sinister goings-on given the sheer length of his horror filmography.
Alongside the horror royalty, Natty Knocks will star Charlotte Fountain-Jardim of TV’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Insidious: The Last Key actor Thomas Robie.
Natty Knocks is set to release day-and-day on July 21st and promises a good time. You can view the trailer below:
