Milo Manheim (Zombies) is the latest addition to the cast of Thanksgiving, Eli Roth’s feature-length adaptation of his faux slasher trailer from the movie Grindhouse.
Manheim joins the previously announced Addison Rae (He’s All That), Patrick Dempsey (Scream 3), Jalen Thomas Brooks (Walker), and Nell Verlaque (Big Shot). Roth is directing the film and producing alongside Roger Birnbaum. The script was written by Jeff Rendell.
The Hollywood Reporter notes that the plot of Thanksgiving “involves a slasher who comes to a small Massachusetts town with the intention of ‘creating a Thanksgiving carving board out of the town’s inhabitants.’” It goes on to add that “Character details are being under the cloche, but suffice to say that most will end up on the butcher’s block.”
Shooting on Thanksgiving is set to get underway this month.
