Michael Rooker fighting monsters in a post-apocalyptic world. No, it’s not that dream you had last week—it’s the plot of Monster Problems, a monstrous new movie and potential franchise being directed by Michael Matthews.
The film will star Rooker (Slither, Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer) as Clyde, an expert hunter who has to help a young man (Teen Wolf’s Dylan O’Brien) survive a world overrun by monsters. The script was written by Brian Duffield and Matthew Robinson, and the film is being produced by Shawn Levy’s 21 Laps production company.
Monster Problems is essentially part monster movie, part coming-of-age story, which should be an interesting mix. We’re always excited to see what Rooker is up to, so we can’t wait to hear more details from this project.
