Creep – no, not the one set in the London tube network – is an impressive and unsettling found footage horror that excels thanks to a creepy performance from Mark Duplass. It’s currently on Netflix, so if you’re keen to check it out you can do so easily. If you have a subscription, of course.
It has been known for a while that Creep would be receiving a follow-up and Mark Duplass recently took to Twitter to reveal that Creep 2 has been “picture locked”. This means that filming has come to an end, hooray! Therefore, we should expect to see some footage from the sequel shortly.
Released back in 2014, Creep followed a videographer called Aaron (Brice) who responds to a Craigslist ad, posted buy Josef (Duplass) keen to document moments from his life. However, Aaron soon finds out the hard way that Josef is quite the, well, creep. It’s a darkly funny and downright brilliant watch, so I cannot recommend it enough.
