The logo has been unveiled for the film adaptation of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, by author Ransom Riggs. The novel is a dark children’s story which follows a young boy called Jacob who is eager to prove that his late grandfather’s monstrous visions were real. His journey takes him to Wales and, unsurprisingly, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children.
Tim Burton is at the helm of this adaptation and, in theory, he should be the perfect director to bring the novel to life. The story is sad, scary and despite its fantastical themes, relatable. With the help of a strong cast, which includes Eva Green, Samuel L. Jackson, Asa Butterfield and Judi Dench, I am optimistic that the film will be a faithful and perfectly petrifying adaptation.
Check out the beautiful, suitably peregrine-shaped logo below, where you can catch a snippet of the peculiar home.
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children will be released on 19th February 2016 in the UK and 4th March 2016 in the USA.
