In a very unexpected announcement, 80’s horror icons Heather Langenkamp and Barbara Crampton will star in Little Bites, a new horror film to be produced by music legend Cher and her son Chaz Bono.
Musician/actor Spider One will direct the project, marking his third turn in horror cinema. One will bring with him actress Krsy Fox, star of his two previous films and his company partner, to star as the lead.
Little Bites follows the recently-widowed Mindy as she sacrifices tiny pieces of herself to a monster named Agyar in a bid to keep the creature from harming her young daughter.
Featuring alongside Fox, Langenkamp and Crampton, Little Bites gains further horror credit with the addition of The Nun star Bonnie Aarons, making for quite the cast of genre names. Filming is expected to begin on the project later this month.
Speaking about the project, producer Chaz Bono had this to say:
“I’m so excited to be working on my second film with OneFox Productions and to be working with my mom Cher is an extra bonus. “
“To be surrounded and supported by such legendary talent and producing partners is quite honestly a surreal experience. There could not be a better team to help me realize the terrifying and heartbreaking tale,” director Spider One said of the film.
It is currently unknown what roles Langenkamp, Crampton and Aarons will play, and Little Bites does not have a release date just yet. We will keep an eye on this intriguing project and report any further updates.
