Jordan Peele blew our tiny minds with his social thriller Get Out, and it has now been reported by THR that his next project will be more of the same. Hooray! There is no word on what social issue his next film will focus on, but Peele has signed a 2-year deal with Universal and the studio has secured the rights to his next untitled thriller.
When speaking about the deal, Peele said:
“I am thrilled to continue the work we started together on Get Out — pushing the boundaries of storytelling, not only on the next film but with all of Monkeypaw’s future projects”.
Not only will the next film reunite Peele with Jason Blum from Blumhouse, it will see him write, direct and produce once again. Additionally, he has been given a budget 5x the amount he had for his debut Get Out, so we should expect something even bigger and bolder. If that’s possible.
Keep your eyes PEELEd for more! Sorry.
