Tiffany herself, the wonderful Jennifer Tilly, has confirmed she’ll be appearing in Chucky, Syfy’s upcoming TV series. The series comes to us from Don Mancini, the man who created the Child’s Play franchise, and Nick Antosca, the creator and show-runner of Channel Zero, and will dive deeper into the killer doll’s untold past.
“I’m so excited,” Tilly told celebrity and pop culture website Page Six. “Don Mancini, who created Chucky 30 years ago, is the writer on this series, so it’s the original Chucky. A little bird told me that I am going to be a part of it.”
Tilly did not confirm whether she’ll be reprising the role of Tiffany, though it’s a safe bet to assume that she will. The character was last seen in 2017’s Cult of Chucky, the final film in the original franchise before Orion’s 2019 remake.
Chucky is expected to begin shooting this summer.
