We learned out of San Diego Comic Con earlier this year that the sequel to 2016’s Doctor Strange is set to be the first horror film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And we’ve just heard that Jade Bartlett (The Turning) will be writing the film, which is titled Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Benedict Cumberbatch will reprise his role as the titular Doctor, with Benedict Wong returning as Wong. Elizabeth Olsen, playing Scarlet Witch, will also star.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will hit theaters in this universe and possibly others on May 7th, 2021.
