Writer-director Jacob Chase has adapted his horror short Larry into a feature-length film. Titled Come Play, the movie stars Gillian Jacobs (Community), John Gallagher Jr. (10 Cloverfield Lane), and Azhy Robertson (Marriage Story) and was produced by Amblin Partners.
Come Play follows Oliver (Robertson), a lonely young boy who seeks solace in his cellphone and tablet. But when a mysterious creature uses Oliver’s devices to enter our world, the boy’s parents must fight to save their son from the monster on the other side of the glass.
Focus Features will release the film on July 24th. Get spooked by watching the creepy short below.
