We’ve known for quite some time that Scream Queens Danielle Harris and Scout Taylor-Compton had collaborated on a horror film called Last Chance Motel.
In fact, we’ve known quite a lot about the project for a while, and it has come to light that a trailer has been available for months.
However, Last Chance Motel hasn’t seemed to hit mainstream attention until now, as the stars gear up for a press tour ahead of the movie’s October 6th release.
In the trailer we arrive at the Last Chance Motel, where a group of friends and family members are gathering for a wedding. Intent to make this a celebration to remember, the festivities are upended by a series of brutal murders. What unfolds is a nightmare of organ harvesting, gore, gaudy fashions, and cake…
The cast is a who’s who of horror names, including Harris, Compton, Nightmare on Elm Street star Heather Langenkamp, and fellow Elm Street alum Monica Keena.
Compton and Harris co-directed the movie, as well as serving as co-writers, and executive producers. The movie is the culmination of years of work, with the longtime friends and co-workers seeking to collaborate as far back as 2015.
Last Chance Motel has begun receiving much more attention of late due to The Horror Collective acquiring the film for digital distribution.
Thanks to this, Last Chance Motel will hit PVOD on October 6th 2026, just in time for the Halloween horror rush.
Looking like the perfect mixture of slasher hijinks and tongue-in-cheek jokes, hopefully Last Chance Motel is the first of many collaborations between this team of horror icons.
