Fans who have been eagerly anticipating the first proper look at David Gordon Green’s Halloween sequel will be pleased to learn that the trailer will be arriving in early June. Jason Blum took to Twitter to tweet the teasing news saying:
“And while I’m twittering as opposed to “tweeting” I want to assure #Halloween fans that we hear you. We have read your comments. And I can assure you that early June will be a happy time for you or perhaps I should say for most of you. xx”
Exciting news!
What we’ve seen and learnt so far has been extremely positive, with Jamie Lee Curtis herself praising the film from Green. Michael Myers’ mask looks appropriately aged and menacing, so we’re expecting the killer to be just as murderous and terrifying as he has been since 1978.
In the film:
Laurie Strode comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.
Halloween will be released on 19th October and stars Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Nick Castle, James Jude Courtney, Virginia Gardner, Miles Robbins, Dylan Arnold, Drew Scheid and, of course, Jamie Lee Curtis as the iconic final girl Laurie.
