Gory Trailer for 80s-esque Killer Kate!

Posted on: August 22nd, 2018

You know a film means business when it has an exclamation mark at the end, and the trailer for Killer Kate! is definitely badass and gloriously violent. Warning: definitely NSFW.

Killer Kate! follows a bachelorette party that turns awry when a family of killers decide to wreak a bloody havoc on the get together. What ensues looks effortlessly gory, violent and with a generous dose of wit and dark humour. You’ll not be surprised to learn that the film desires to hark back to the days of early John Carpenter.

Estranged sisters – Kate and Angie – haven’t spoken since Angie went to college and left Kate to care for their ailing father. In a show of reconciliation, several years after moving out, Angie invites Kate to her bachelorette party held at a remote house booked on a home-sharing app. The women are unaware that by booking this house, they’re walking into a trap set in motion by a disturbed family of amateur killers who are out for blood to right a cosmic wrong. They soon become unwitting participants in a savage and often ridiculous life-or-death struggle that pits family against family, and past against present.

Killer Kate! will be released in the USA on VOD and in selected cinemas on 26th October; just in time for Halloween.
