After being pushed back last year as a result of the pandemic, Godzilla vs. Kong will now release a little earlier than we anticipated! The monster showdown will drop simultaneously in theatres and on HBO Max on March 26th—two months earlier than previously announced!
Directed by Adam Wingard (The Guest, You’re Next), Godzilla vs. Kong will see two of the most powerful forces of nature on the planet colliding in a spectacular battle for the ages, with humanity’s future hanging in the balance. As Monarch embarks on a perilous mission into uncharted terrain and unearths clues to the Titans’ origins, a human conspiracy threatens to wipe the creatures—both good and bad—from the face of the earth forever.
Alexander Skarsgard (The Stand), Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things), Rebecca Hall (The Awakening), and Kyle Chandler (Super 8) star in the film. The screenplay was written by Eric Pearson (Thor: Ragnarok) and Max Borenstein (The Terror), from a story by Terry Rossio (Pirates of the Caribbean), Zach Shields (Krampus), and Michael Dougherty (Trick ‘r Treat).
