Ryan Kwanten (True Blood) and J.K. Simmons (Jennifer’s Body) star in upcoming horror movie Glorious, which is an official selection for this year’s Fantasia International Film Festival—and the teaser trailer hints at a neon-soaked nightmare of cosmic proportions!
In the film: “Kwanten plays a young man who is spiralling out of control after a bad breakup. His situation worsens after he finds himself locked inside a rest-stop bathroom with a mysterious figure (Simmons) speaking to him from an adjacent stall. As he tries to escape, he realises he is an unwilling player in a situation bigger than he could have imagined.
“Co-written by Joshua Hull, David Ian McKendry and Todd Rigney, the story takes Wes deep into his own psyche as he wrestles with fate and a glimpse of the unthinkable in this Lovecraft-inspired comic horror.”
Rebekah McKendry (All the Creatures Were Stirring) directed Glorious. Catch the film on Shudder later this year, and check out the teaser below!
