Frank Grillo (The Purge: Anarchy) has been cast in a horror thriller called Man’s Son, which is set to be directed by his own son, Remy Grillo, making his directorial debut.
Inspired by real occult activity in the California desert, Man’s Son will centre around a young couple hoping to create an aesthetically pleasing audition tape for an upcoming Charles Manson film. But when they choose an eclectic desert Airbnb as the perfect backdrop, the dark events of the audition material slowly slip into their reality. Eventually, they find themselves intertwined in the sinister plot of an occult leader (Frank Grillo).
Man’s Son was written by Josh Plasse and Brev Moss. The film is slated to begin shooting in California’s Yucca Valley this March.
