FOX has landed the comedy-horror series Ghosted which has been described as a comedic version of The X-Files. So far, the network has given the greenlight for a pilot episode which is set to star Craig Robinson (This Is The End) and Adam Scott (Piranha 3D, Krampus).
The show will follow a sceptic (Robinson) and believer in the paranormal (Scott) who are hired to investigate unexplainable activity in Los Angeles that is threatening the existence of the human race. It sounds a lot like a TV version of mix of Ghostbusters and the X-Files, so if the show can appeal to fans of quirky comedy and eerie mysteries, it could secure a loyal and dedicated viewership.
Ghosted will be written by Tom Gormican (That Awkward Moment) and executively produced by Gormican, Robinson and Scott.
