There is no specific date as of yet, but Endnight Games’ The Forest will finally be hitting PS4 in 2018. This comes 3 years after the original expected date in 2015. That’s quite the wait. The game is currently available for PC via Steam Early Access and has received excitingly positive reviews.
Described as a “cannibal slasher” The Forest is a survival horror game where players are forced to fend for themselves after surviving a plane crash. They’ll learn to fish and build forts, but beware, because blood-thirsty cannibals will be lurking in the area.
It’s been a long time coming, but we’re glad to see the game will be getting a deserved PS4 release next year. Hopefully it will be a full, rather than an early access launch.
