The first full trailer has been revealed for Lords of Chaos, a black metal horror of sorts that is based on true events. The story follows the lead-up to the murder of Oystein Aarseth AKA Euronymous, who was killed by fellow musician Varg Vikernes in 1993.
The trailer showcases the sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle of the 20-something Black Metal musicians and, although it seems a little romanticized, it does well to paint a dark and nightmarish portrait of the young men. Check it out below.
Lords of Chaos comes from director Jonas Akerlund and stars Rory Culkin, Emory Cohen, Anthony De La Torre, Sky Ferreira, Jack Kilmer and Valter Skarsgard. The film will be released in select cinemas from 8th February before being released On Deman on 22nd February.
