Bailee Madison’s Kinsey tries to escape a familiar figure in the very first image released from the newly-titled Strangers: Prey at Night, the long-awaited sequel to Bryan Bertino’s 2008 house invasion hit The Strangers. The pic comes hot on the heels of the title announcement, and the news that the film is now complete, and has a release date set for March 9th, 2018.
The sequel many thought we’d never see catches up with the masked psychos known as Dollface (Emma Bellomy), Pin-up Girl (Lea Enslin) and Man in the Mask (Damian Maffei) as they torment a new set of victims which includes Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark star Madison, as well as Christina Hendricks, Lewis Pullman and Martin Henderson.
Synopsis:
A family’s road trip takes a dangerous turn when they arrive at a secluded mobile home park to stay with some relatives and find it mysteriously deserted. Under the cover of darkness, three masked psychopaths pay them a visit to test the family’s every limit as they struggle to survive.
Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down) directed the film, which was scripted by Bryan Bertino and Ben Ketai (The Forest).
Will the killers’ job be “easier next time,” as was promised at the end of The Strangers? We’ll find out in March.
