Hail your new Hell Priest! Director David Bruckner (The Night House, The Ritual) is bringing us a brand new Hellraiser movie this October, and Entertainment Weekly has shared our first good look at Jamie Clayton (Sense8) as Pinhead.
What’s more, EW shared an image of a brand-new Cenobite called “The Masque!”
“This is not a remake,” Bruckner told EW. “I just didn’t think you could ever remake the original Hellraiser. It’s too much its own thing and it would be, I think, perilous territory for filmmakers, because how do you top that? This is a new story in the Hellraiser universe.”
Bruckner also revealed to EW that Clive Barker has been “very involved” in the film, which tells“the tale of a young woman, who’s struggling with addiction and compulsive behavior, that comes in contact accidentally with the box and unfortunately begins to dabble with it.”
Hellraiser is set to premiere exclusively on Hulu in the U.S. on October 7th, 2022. Head over to EW’s article for more pictures and details from the film.
