The first image has been revealed for the psychological thriller Lavender from director Ed Gass-Donnelly (The Last Exorcism Part II). The film will screen at the upcoming Tribeca Film Festival which runs from 13th-24th April in Manhattan, New York. Lavender will be making its world premiere at the festival on Monday 18th April in the Spotlight section.
Lavender stars Abbie Cornish (Sucker Punch, RoboCop) as Jane, a photographer, who must face her tragic past to take control of her current life. Jane has memory loss after suffering in a car accident, so she has the help of a psychiatrist (Justin Long) who helps her to piece together the mysteries of her life and discover if she is responsible for the deaths of her family members.
A handful of other noteworthy horror-thrillers will be screening at the festival and they include Curve, Catch a Monster and Rebirth. There’s a lot of potentially great content screening at Tribecca, so it’s definitely worth heading there if you can.
