The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) has shared our first look at Sick, a “lean, mean, and wickedly timely slasher” based on a story by Scream writer Kevin Williamson.
The film, which is world premiering as part of TIFF’s Midnight Madness slate, is directed by John Hyams (Alone, Black Summer) and written by Katelyn Crabb. Gideon Adlon (Witch Hunt), Dylan Sprayberry (Teen Wolf), Bethlehem Million (Flatbush Misdemeanors), and Jane Adams (She Dies Tomorrow) star.
In Sick: “Due to the pandemic, Parker and her best friend decide to quarantine at the family lake house alone—or so they think.” That’s all we really know about the film at this time, but with Williamson’s name attached, we’re intrigued!
