We’re rapidly approaching Final Destination: Bloodlines’ May release date.
However, New Line Cinema have been very careful with their marketing, with the first teaser acting more as an extended clip than a trailer.
Consequently, fans are eager for any nugget of info on Bloodlines, whilst we await the arrival of a full trailer.
Well, in news that will surprise no one, Final Destination: Bloodlines has received an R rating from the MPA.
Containing “Strong violent/grisly accidents, and language,” Bloodlines seems to contain everything we’ve come to love about the Final Destination franchise.
Furthermore, we’ve learned that Bloodlines will be the longest entry in the series so far, clocking in at 102 minutes.
In a newly released logline, New Line Cinema described the sixth entry as follows:
“Plagued by a violent recurring nightmare, college student Stefanie heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all.”
Although not a prequel, we’ve been aware for some time that Bloodlines will connect to the 2000 original, although how remains unclear.
Bloodlines stars Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, and Rya Kihlstedt. The late Tony Todd will reprise his role as mortician William Bloodworth for the fourth time, in what will sadly be his final on-screen appearance.
Final Destination: Bloodlines is set to debut on May 16th 2025. The first full trailer is expected soon, but for now, you can check out the extended clip teaser below:
