As die-hard fan’s of Tobe Hooper’s 1982 horror classic Poltergeist, we were not ecstatic about the idea of a remake. However, we were pleasantly surprised to see that the 2015 version was not that bad. It is not a touch on the original, but it was not a complete travesty when compared to the awful reimaginings of The Wicker Man, A Nightmare on Elm Street and many others.
