It’s a sequel that [most] people didn’t want, but the more we see from Beyond Skyline the more [surprisingly] excited we are for it. A new explosive trailer has been released and it shows more alien destruction and the dire lengths that Frank Grillo will go to save his son from their clutches.
Additionally starring the badass Iko Uwais, Beyond Skyline looks 100x better than its predecessor, which is a strangely recurring trend that we’ve come to see lately. Sequels are proving that they can improve on the film(s) from before and we’re hoping that Beyond Skyline will be another example.
Beyond Skyline additionally stars Bojana Novakovich and Callan Mulvey. Liam O’Donnell is in the director’s chair and he produced the original Skyline, as well as 2012’s intriguing found footage film The Bay. He’s also worked on the visual effects of Iron Man 2, so you know where he gets his flair for striking action sequences.
Beyond Skyline will have its UK premiere at Horror Channel FrightFest’s special Halloween event this 28th October. See you there!
