Following several successful preview screenings, Sébastien Vaniček’s Evil Dead Burn will be releasing earlier than previously announced.
Originally scheduled to hit screens on July 22nd, Evil Dead Burn has now moved up 12 days to July 10th 2026.
Pushing the release date forward speaks of great confidence in the film from Warner Bros., which means the sequel could be on track to repeat the success of 2023’s Evil Dead Rise.
Although no plot details had previously been announced, as the release date draws closer, we now have an official synopsis for Evil Dead Burn.
According to various official sources, Evil Dead Burn details:
“A woman seeking comfort at her in-laws in their remote house when she loses her husband in a car accident. However, after the discovery of an ancient book, the family reunion becomes a hellish nightmare.”
The movie’s cast includes Wednesday’s Hunter Doohan alongside Souheila Yacoub, Luciane Buchanan, Tandi Wright, and George Pullar, all in undisclosed roles.
Evil Dead Burn will be distributed by Warner Bros. in the United States and Sony Pictures Releasing internationally.
