“DON’T MOVE” PROMISES A WHOLE NEW KIND OF BODY HORROR IN FIRST TRAILER

Posted on: September 28th, 2024

“You can hide, but you can’t run…”

All the way back in May 2023, we reported that American Horror Story star Finn Whittrock had boarded Don’t Move. The project garnered significant attention at the time due to the involvement of Sam Raimi as producer, however, things quickly went quiet.

Now, not only do we have far more info on the project, we have the trailer for you!

Coming just in time for Halloween, Don’t Move is set to debut on October 25th via Netflix. Telling the tale of a “seasoned serial killer” who uses a paralyzing agent to subdue his victims, the trailer promises a new and different form of body horror.

Historically, body horror gets its shocks and thrills from the human form mutating into something grotesque… However, here, Yellowstone’s Kelsey Asbille struggles against her perfectly normal looking body as it refuses to do as she wishes.

Looking like a tense, isolated, cat and mouse game, Don’t Move presents us with a quandary like Netflix’s Run… How can someone escape and defeat their tormentor if they’re unable to move?

Directed by duo Adam Schindler and Brian Netto, from a script penned by T.J. Cimfel and David White, Don’t Move looks like it will be a spooky season sensation for Netflix.
