With Hollywood at a standstill as a result of the coronavirus, many major releases will be hitting theaters a little later than originally anticipated. Marvel’s horror-tinged sequel Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is no exception. The film, which was originally slated to release on May 7th, 2021, will now release on November 5th, 2021.
Sam Raimi is expected to direct the film, which has not yet begun filming. Benedict Cumberbatch will reprise his role as Doctor Strange, with Benedict Wong, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Elizabeth Olsen also expected to return.
