Exciting news out of Showtime’s upcoming Dexter revival. Clancy Brown (The Mortuary Collection, Pet Sematary Two) has been cast as Kurt Caldwell, the primary villain of the series!
According to Variety: “Caldwell is described as the unofficial mayor of the small town of Iron Lake. He’s realised the American dream by going from driving big rigs, just like his father did, to now owning several trucks and the local truck stop. Powerful, generous, loved by everyone—he’s a true man of the people. If he’s got your back, consider yourself blessed. But should you cross Kurt, or hurt anyone that he cares for, God help you.”
Michael C. Hall will reprise the title role of Dexter Morgan in the limited series revival. Set a decade after the character went missing in the eye of Hurricane Laura, the series will see Dexter living under an assumed name a world away from Miami.
Clyde Phillips, who served as showrunner, executive producer, and writer for the first four seasons, will return as showrunner for the revival. The series is expected to slash onto our screens sometime this autumn.
