The more I see on this the better it looks. A new trailer has been released for Peter Ricq’s Dead Shack, and it’s two-and-a-half minutes of hilarious, splatter-filled gloriousness!
The comedic shocker, which is out now on iTunes, VOD, and DVD across Canada, marks the narrative feature debut of director Ricq, the creator of animated series’ Freaktown and The League of Super Evil. Dead Shack is said to have something of an Amblin vibe, albeit while plunging far more twisted depths than The Goonies or Hook.
Synopsis:
A group of teens on a weekend getaway at a secluded cabin in the woods soon find themselves fighting off a serious threat to their lives. Not only that they must save their hard-partying, drunk and stoned parents from a predatory neighbor who is hellbent on feeding them all to her undead family.
Lizzie Boys, Donavon Stinson (TV’s Reaper), Valerie Tian (Jennifer’s Body, Juno) and Lauren Holly (Dumb and Dumber, Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story, February) star.
