David Robert Mitchell’s It Follows was a genre-defining hit back in 2014, so we’re extremely excited to see where the director goes with his next feature Under the Silver Lake. This one’s not going to be a horror film and has been described as a “modern noir crime thriller set in Los Angeles”. The story will follow a man who becomes obsessed with a murder and a kidnapping.
The film already stars Andrew Garfield, Dakota Johnson and Topher Grace, but has now added Zosia Mamet, Jimmi Simpson, Patrick Fischler and Luke Baines; a variety of familiar faces you’ll recognise from Westworld, Mulholland Drive and The Girl in the Photographs.
