Italian horror master Dario Argento (Suspiria, Deep Red, Tenebre) returns to the genre with Dark Glasses (Occhiali Neri), a Rome-set Giallo that will be coming to Shudder later this year. The first trailer has arrived, and it’s as bloody as we’ve come to expect from Argento!
In the film, Ilenia Pastorelli stars as a sex worker blinded by a serial killer in a botched attack. She takes in a young Chinese boy (Andrea Zhang) whose life has also been abruptly altered forever by the maniac’s actions. He will become her ally in a terrifying struggle to see off the serial killer forever.
Asia Argento (Land of the Dead), daughter of the director, also stars in Dark Glasses, which will slash into Shudder in the UK, Ireland, North America, Australia, and New Zealand sometime this autumn. Check out the full subtitled trailer below.
