Halloween might be over for another year, but the queen of Halloween herself, Jamie Lee Curtis, has blessed us with a little treat. The actor took to Twitter to share some first-look footage from David Gordon Green’s Halloween Kills, which is currently shooting.
In the video, we get a glimpse of grown-up Tommy Doyle (now played by Anthony Michael Hall), who first appeared in John Carpenter’s original 1978 Halloween. We also see a bloody Laurie (Curtis) lying on a stretcher, presumably following her escape from Michael at the end of the last film. And if it wasn’t obvious already that Michael didn’t actually go down in flames, we see him standing on the porch of the burning house.
Halloween Kills will hit theatres on October 16th, 2020, with the final instalment, Halloween Ends, following on October 15th, 2021.
