From IFC Midnight and Shudder, Consecration is the latest horror offering from director Christopher Smith (Triangle, The Banishing). The film is set in a Scottish convent, but judging by the trailer, God is nowhere to be found…
In Consecration, “After the suspicious death of her brother, a priest, Grace goes to the Mount Saviour Convent in Scotland to find out what really happened. Once there, she uncovers murder, sacrilege, and a disturbing truth about her own past.”
Jena Malone (The Neon Demon, The Ruins) stars in Consecration, which was co-written by Smith and Laurie Cook. The cast also includes Danny Huston (30 Days of Night) and Janet Suzman (Nicholas and Alexandra).
IFC Midnight is releasing Consecration in U.S. theatres on February 10th ahead of its digital release on March 3rd. Say your prayers and watch the trailer below!
