Iconic Actor Sir Christopher Lee Has Passed Away At Age 93

Posted on: June 11th, 2015
BRITAIN-ENTERTAINMENT-CINEMA-BOND-SKYFALLUnfortunately we have some very sad news for you as legendary actor Sir Christopher Lee passed away on Sunday at the age of 93.

You’ll most likely know Lee from scaring the living daylights out of you as he initially started out playing the bad guy in the majority of his films. His most recognised horror work was portraying Count Dracula in many Hammer Horror films. Lee used his excellence in being stern and frightening to bring to life other characters in films like The Wicker Man, The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars and Sleepy Hollow.

After an extensive career in film, he then went on to releasing heavy metal albums, including some Christmas metal CDs – you can’t really get more awesome than that. From 1948 up until his death, Lee worked everyday, proving he was one of the most respected and hard-working men in the industry.

We’re very upset to hear of the passing of this truly amazing man, but we should all remember him for the incredible work he did, leaving us all with an abundance of films that flaunt his talents. RIP Sir Christopher Lee, our thoughts are with his family during this time.
