Lexa Doig, who played Rowan in Jason X, has joined the cast of Syfy and USA’s upcoming Chucky TV series.
Doig will play Bree Webber, the wife of Logan (Devon Sawa) and aunt of Jake Webber (Zackary Arthur), one of the show’s teenage leads. Bree is held to an unrealistic standard by both her husband and herself, which leads her to keep a dark secret from the family…
Brad Dourif, Fiona Dourif, and Jennifer Tilly are all confirmed to be reprising their roles for the 10-episode series, which comes to us from franchise creator Don Mancini and Channel Zero mastermind Nick Antosca. Here’s the official plot:
After a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale, an idyllic American town is thrown into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose the town’s hypocrisies and secrets. Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies—and allies—from Chucky’s past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll’s untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster.
