Chucky is back for a second season and after so much murder and mayhem the first time around, some new cast members were a must. New to Season 2: Lara Jean Chorostecki, who played the unscrupulous Freddie Lounds in Hannibal.
According to Deadline, “Details of Chorostecki’s character are being kept under wraps, as the setting for the new season is yet to be revealed.”
Also joining the cast this season are Meg Tilly (Psycho 2), Gina Gershon (Bound), Joe Pantoliano (Memento), Tony Nappo (Saw II), and Sutton Stracke (The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills). Returning cast members include Brad Dourif as the voice of Chucky, Jennifer Tilly as Tiffany Valentine, Zackary Arthur as Jake Wheeler, Björgvin Arnarson as Devon Evans, Alyvia Alyn Lind as Lexy Cross, Fiona Dourif as Nica Pierce, Alex Vincent as Andy Barclay, Christine Elise as Kyle, and Barbara Alyn Woods as Mayor Michelle Cross. Devon Sawa will also be back in a new role.
The first season of Chucky saw an idyllic American town being thrown into chaos after a vintage Good Guy doll turned up at a suburban yard sale, triggering a series of horrifying murders that began to expose the town’s hypocrisies and secrets. At the same time, the arrival of enemies—and allies—from Chucky’s past threatened to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll’s untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster…
