Netflix is returning to the frightening world of R.L. Stine with a brand new Fear Street movie, Above the Line reports. Even more excitingly, Chloe Okuno (Watcher, V/H/S/94) has been tapped to direct!
This will be the fourth movie in the Fear Street franchise, which is based on Stine’s best-selling young adult horror book series. The first three instalments were directed by Leigh Janiak and released back-to-back on Netflix over the summer of 2021.
In the 2021 Fear Street trilogy, a group of teenagers team up to fight an ancient evil that has terrorized their town for centuries. The events of the trilogy take place over three time periods: 1994, 1978, and 1666.
