Remember a couple days ago when I was bemoaning the absence of Jessica Lange over the past 2 seasons of American Horror Story? Remember how I shared my dream of the series’ former staple returning for Season 8, slated to begin airing on FX this September? Well, someone’s definitely messing with me now!
Billy Eichner played Harrison Wilton (and Tex Watson) in last year’s American Horror Story: Cult (Season 7) and will be returning for the as-yet unnamed Murder House/Coven crossover in September. The actor recently shared a photo on Instagram, one that included previously announced Season 8 cast members—and one “secret friend”. Have a look-see:

You know what I’m thinking: Could that be Jessica Lange behind the ghostly, oversized emoji? A boy can dream!
Ryan Murphy is the showrunner for American Horror Story; in addition to Eichner, cast members confirmed for Season 8 include: Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Joan Collins, and Billie Lourd. The anthology series returns to FX on September 12.
