Matt Mitchell’s action-horror The Rizen invades VOD in January, bringing with it a host of ace British talent from film and TV. Check out the trailer below; you’ll be glad you did.
Laura Swift – who starred in Mitchell’s It Never Sleeps – heads the cast which also includes TV comedy legends Sally Phillips (I’m Alan Partridge, Green Wing) and Adrian Edmondson (The Young Ones, Bottom), with Bruce Payne (Passenger 57, The Keep), Julian Rhind-Tutt (Aaaaaaaah!, Green Wing) and Tom Goodman-Hill (Humans, Ideal).
Synopsis:
The year is 1955. NATO and the Allied Forces have been conducting secret, occult experiments in a bid to win the Arms Race. They have finally succeeded, but what they have unleashed could tear our world apart. Now one woman must lead the only other two survivors past faceless horrors that threaten to kill or capture them at every turn. They are the only ones left who can fight to close a door that should never have been opened.
The Rizen arrives on VOD on January 2nd from Uncork’d Entertainment.
