Here’s something tasty for you. Ahead of its appearance at Montreal’s Fantasia Film Festival later this month, we’ve got the trailer for Another Wolfcop, the hotly-anticipated sequel to Lowell Dean’s 2014 monster comedy.
Dean once again wrote and directed, with Leo Fafard returning to the role of the titular hard-drinkin’ officer of the claw, who also goes by the name Lou Garou.
In the film, “Alcoholic werewolf cop Lou Garou springs into action when an eccentric businessman with evil intentions seduces Woodhaven’s residents with a new brewery and hockey team in this outrageous horror-comedy sequel.”
The trailer certainly looks promising, with plenty of laughs and splatter, not to mention an endorsement from the Trailer Park Boys and an appearance from a certain well-known hero of indie film. But, if you haven’t already, check out the quite brilliant poster, which is a wicked parody of the celebrated artwork for Stallone action ‘classic’ Cobra. I’ll drink to that.
