“BEETLEJUICE 2” SET PHOTOS REVEAL THE RETURN OF A FAMILIAR LOCATION

Posted on: July 8th, 2023

Are you ready to go back to Winter River, Connecticut?

This past week photos emerged from the production of Tim Burton’s hotly anticipated sequel Beetlejuice 2, and they’ve really got fans hyped. The town of East Corinth, Vermont has once again been transformed, with the iconic Deetz home standing proudly atop everything.

Production teams have gone to meticulous effort to ensure that the sequel matches the look of the 1988 original, and so far, it seems to be paying off.

Beetlejuice 2 began filming in May, with location filming taking place at Princess Helena College in Preston, Hertfordshire, England, and at the nearby Elstree Studios. Now it seems as though production has moved stateside for more location shots.

35 years in gestation, Beetlejuice 2 is one of Hollywood’s most anticipated projects in years. The film has drawn a plethora of talent including Scream’s Jenna Ortega, Willem Dafoe, Justin Theroux, and Monica Bellucci. Joining the new additions, the sequel will also see the return of Michael Keaton as the titular phantom and Winona Ryder and Catherine O’Hara as mother and daughter Delia and Lydia Deetz.

So far, plot details are a closely guarded secret, with the only information leaking out being that Ortega will play the daughter of Ryder’s character and Bellucci is likely playing the wife to Keaton’s Beetlejuice. All else remains a mystery!

Beetlejuice 2 will release on September 6th 2024 via Warner Bros and expectations are sky high. We will report any further nuggets of information as they come in.
