It’s only a couple of weeks until we get to see Natalie Dormer (Game of Thrones) venture in to the infamous Aokigahara Forest in Japan, where hundreds of people have ventured to, sadly, end their lives. Now we have an impressive motion poster to share with you, which you can check out below.
It’s probably the best motion poster we’ve see, because it’s beautiful and effectively explores the different layers of the film and Sara’s journey to Japan. Just like the film wants to remind us to stay on the path, the poster follows one route and mimics the simple and smooth act of getting from one place to another.
Synopsis:
A young American woman, Sara, journeys there in search of her twin sister, who has mysteriously disappeared. In the company of expatriate Aiden Sara enters the forest having been well warned to ‘stay on the path.’ Determined to discover the truth about her sister’s fate, Sara will have to face the angry and tormented souls of the dead that prey on anyone who dares come near them. These malevolent spirits lying in wait for Sara at every turn will plunge her into a frightening darkness from which she must fight to save herself.
The Forest will be released on 8th February 2016 in the USA and 25th March 2016 in the UK.
