The long-awaited Antebellum is finally releasing on-demand in the U.S. on September 18th, and a newly released clip from the film (below) gives us a taste of the strange happenings in store.
Actor and musician Janelle Monáe stars as Veronica Henley, a successful author who finds herself trapped in a horrifying reality and must uncover the mind-bending mystery before it’s too late. The new clip sees Veronica having an unsettling encounter in the elevator when a creepy little girl tells her she’ll “get in trouble for talking.” Very mysterious…
Antebellum was written and directed by Gerard Bush and Christopher Renz. The cast also includes Marque Richardson II (True Blood), Kiersey Clemons (Sweetheart), Tongayi Chirisa (iZombie), Gabourey Sidibe (American Horror Story), Jena Malone (The Neon Demon), Jack Huston (Outlander), Lily Cowles (Roswell, New Mexico), Robert Aramayo (Nocturnal Animals), and Eric Lange (The Man in the High Castle).
