Director Robert Rodriguez’s From Dusk Till Dawn has already spawned two sequels and a TV series that ran for three seasons—but it’s got life in it yet! In a recent interview with SFX Magazine, Rodriquez revealed that an animated series is in development.
As of right now, little else is known about the project, although it’s likely to expand on the Aztec vampire lore, rather than being a remake.
The 1996 original film was written by Quentin Tarantino, from a story by Robert Kutzman, and followed two criminals and their hostages unknowingly seeking refuge in a truck stop populated by vampires. George Clooney, Juliette Lewis, Harvey Keitel, Salma Hayek, and Tarantino starred.
