M. Night Shyamalan’s anticipated sequel to Unbreakable and Split is filming as we speak and now we have a new cast announcement. Adam David Johnson, who features in Netflix’s Godless mini-series and Mozart in the Jungle, has joined the cast in an undisclosed role.
Thompson joins the cast that features Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, James McAvoy, Sarah Paulson and Anya Taylor-Joy. The events of Glass take place after the end of Split, with David Dunn on the hunt for Kevin Wendell Crumb’s The Beast. Samuel L. Jackson is reprising his role as Mr. Glass, who becomes an important figure for both of the men.
It was an exciting turn of events when it was revealed that Split was a secret sequel to Unbreakable, and we’re extremely excited to see how M. Night Shyamalan furthers his universe after Split. Glass will be released on 18th January 2019, so we still have quite a wait until the film hits our screens and shatters our minds.
