If you’d like to see all your favourite monsters in one film, then Witchula may be the feature for you. Marcus Bradford has started to develop a flick that combines witches, vampires and werewolves, as well as a witch-vampire hybrid of sorts. We guess this must be Witchula, who is set to be played by horror actress Maria Olsen (The Levenger Tapes, Starry Eyes, Hansel vs. Gretel).
Synopsis:
A pregnant, young college woman learns that a powerful witch-vampire “hybrid” seeks to take her unborn child; she and her boyfriend must risk their lives in an effort to kill this witch-vampire and save their unborn baby.
From the synopsis, it sounds like William Friedkin’s The Guardian set within a universe like Underworld – or Twilight? Hopefully more like the former. This definitely sounds like an intriguing project; with production set to begin this year, we could be seeing Witchula on our screens in 2017.
