Showtime has dropped a cryptic teaser trailer for the second season of its psychological horror-survival series Yellowjackets, announcing that the series will return on March 24th, 2023!
The teaser also gives us a glimpse of the harsh winter that our band of survivors will soon face. With many of the characters injured and food already scarce, it looks like the bad situation they’ve found themselves in is about to get a whole lot worse…
Created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, Yellowjackets “ is the saga of a team of wildly talented high school girls soccer players who become the (un)lucky survivors of a plane crash deep in the remote northern wilderness. The series chronicles their descent from a complicated but thriving team to savage clans, while also tracking the lives they’ve attempted to piece back together nearly 25 years later, proving that the past is never really past and what began out in the wilderness is far from over.”
Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress, Christina Ricci, and Juliette Lewis star in Yellowjackets. The cast for the second season also includes Lauren Ambrose (Servant), Simon Kessell (Obi-Wan), and Elijah Wood (Maniac).
