Mike P. Nelson’s Wrong Turn 7 has begun shooting, and the cast has been revealed.
Charlotte Vega (The Lodgers) will lead the cast, which also includes Stranger Things’ Matthew Modine. They’re joined by Damian Maffei (The Strangers: Prey at Night), Emma Dumont (The Gifted), Bill Sage (We Are What We Are, American Psycho), Chaney Morrow (Haunt), Valerie Jane Parker (Voices), and David Hutchinson (American Horror Story). The script was written by Alan B. McElroy, who also wrote the very first film in the franchise.
The seventh film sees an unlucky group of friends who plan to hike the Appalachian Trail encountering “The Foundation,” a community that has lived in the mountains since before the Civil War. I’ll give you three guesses whether this community is friendly…
